Pre-Induction Speech
The pre-induction speech is the interview which takes place before the actual trance work. This time is usually spent gaining rapport and easing any concerns the patient might have.
It is an important introduction to hypnosis to prepare the client for the induction. It should include an explanation of hypnosis and an idea of what the client can expect to experience in the state. It addresses any fears and misconceptions the client may have, all the while building up message units.
