Eye Accessing Cues

Eye Accessing Cues is an NLP technique of observing the unconscious eye movement to determine if a subject is mentally seeing images, hearing sounds, engaging in self-dialogue or experiencing kenisethic feelings.

Studying the movements of the eyes which indicate visual, auditory or kinesthetic thinking when moving in certain directions.
It is believed that when eye moves in a specific direction, it often seems to link with a specific kind of internal or mental processing.

There are some common patterns of eye accessing cues:

  • Upwards (left/right) — Visual (V)
  • Level (left/right) — Auditory (A)
  • Down-right — Kinesthetic (K)
  • Down-left Auditory internal dialogue (Ad)
